My friend Joe Audette has started a very interesting portal project for Mono and MySQL.  It's based initially on IBuySpy, but he has plans for many architecture improvements.  I believe this is going to become a very important project, and he has already made significant progress.  Check it out and spread the word.

Thanks for helping to spread the word! I really appreciate it. I know the Rainbow Portal team is also working toward mono and MySQL support. It will be interesting to see how long it takes them to achieve it considering how big the project is already. It took quite a bit of work just to get IBuySpy ported and its not a very big app. I'm making rapid progress but have a long way to go in terms of matching their features, not that I plan to match all of them. I'm focusing on what I think are the most important features and trying to do a better implementation for some of them. For example the Rainbow discussion module is pretty lame in my opinion. My forums module will be much more full featured.

I don't think DNN has been ported to Mono. Has it?

You should also check out - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/ (it's very mature and I believe that others have already built the MySQL Plugins for it).
